If you haven't visited the website http://pray.nd.edu, then I encourage you to do so. http://pray.nd.edu website is Notre Dame's effort to bring the spiritual resources of
Our Lady's University directly to you. It contains a prayer for the day, the
Gospel reading for the day, and a reflection on living the Gospel today. At
the site is a page to place prayer intentions for which the living flame of the
Alumni Association's green candle at the Grotto will burn each
week.
Upcoming Club Events
Saturday, June 27th - Baltimore, MD - Dockside Reception and Baltimore Harbor Sail on the Tallship Unicorn
Please plan on joining fellow ND Club members and graduates of Saint Mary’s College for a dockside reception or a sail in the Baltimore Inner Harbor (or both) on the beautiful 118-ft. Tallship Unicorn on Saturday, June 27. This fine vessel is owned and operated by a Saint Mary’s alum, Dawn Santamaria, and her husband. Dawn uses the Tallship Unicorn to conduct the Sisters Under Sail program. The vessel will be stopping in Baltimore for just this one full day as part of its East Coast itinerary during the summer of 2009.For more information on the history of the vessel and the Sisters Under Sail program, please see the web site at http://www.tallshipunicorn.com/a_abouttallshipunicorn.html.
Because of Coast Guard regulations, we can offer only 12 persons the opportunity to set sail on this stunning ship from 3:30-5:30 pm on June 27. However, we have also arranged for a dockside reception, with light fare, aboard the vessel for up to 50 persons after the Tallship Unicorn has docked next to the U.S.S. Constellation in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. The reception is scheduled for 6:30-9:00 pm on the 27th.
